Australia and New Zealand Banking Group’s (ANZ) life insurance business OnePath has entered into a partnership with mental health network Mr. Perfect.

The tie-up will see OnePath sponsor more than 120 free informal BBQs for men and their families. The initiative aims to provide and encourage conversations and connections to make sure all members of the community feel safe, supported and acknowledged.

“Our OnePath mental health claims portfolio shows us the need for organisations like Mr. Perfect,” ANZ life insurance head of mental health and wellness Maria Falas said.

Falas highlighted that male customers have lodged about three quarters of OnePath’s mental health-related income protection claims.

“This partnership is an opportunity for OnePath to continue its advocacy of preventative mental health measures for customers, while giving back to the community in a meaningful way,” she added.
