Tyler Wren has opened a new office in Christchurch, marking the specialist recruitment firm’s expansion into the South Island.

The new office is headed by partner Ben Holloway, who recently relocated from Auckland to Christchurch with his family.

According to Tyler Wren, the new location will allow it to offer a more personal service to its candidates and clients in the southern regions. It previously served the entirety of New Zealand out of its Auckland office.

Tyler Wren, which specialises in the recruitment of professionals in the insurance and finance, accounting, design and build, and legal industries, said that it is seeing a steady stream of professionals moving to the Canterbury region, with Christchurch being one of New Zealand’s most affordable cities to live in.

“The last two years have been challenging for businesses worldwide,” the firm said. “Tyler Wren has stood strong and has continuously grown throughout this period. We have strengthened our core team and expanded our headcount across the business. This has increased our ability to serve our clients and candidates across New Zealand and Australia.”
