Revealed: Recipient of the Home and Contents Insurance Most Satisfied Customer Award

New Zealand rural insurer FMG has received the Canstar Home and Contents Insurance Most Satisfied Customers Award for 2019.

FMG is a newcomer to Canstar’s list and a first-time winner, though the insurer has certainly earned its place at the top of a very competitive market.

“FMG’s stellar performance is highlighted by the fact that it’s the only home and contents insurance provider to have earned a five-star rating across every one of our six categories,” Canstar general manager Jose George said.

George noted FMG’s score was a standout in terms of communication, quality of service, ease of claim and value for money, achieving an overall satisfaction rating of five stars.

“As a 100% Kiwi-owned and operated mutual insurer, building relationships with clients and rural communities is core to our business, so to receive the 2019 Canstar Most Satisfied Customers Award means a great deal to FMG,” FMG general manager client propositions and communication Pete Frizzell added.

For the award, Canstar surveyed 1,480 New Zealanders who have made a home or contents claim within the last three years.
