Sedgwick has announced the appointment of Eric Malterre as chief client officer for its international division.

Malterre has more than 15 years of experience in reinsurance and broker leadership roles across territories in Africa, Asia and Europe. In his new role, he will oversee client services outside of the Americas, identify and develop new market opportunities and support the continued growth of Sedgwick’s business internationally.

Muress, Sedgwick CEO of international operations. “Eric’s experience in African, APAC and European markets makes him the ideal person to bring Sedgwick’s industry-leading service philosophy to customers around the world and support our ambition to take the business to the next level.”

Prior to his insurance career, Malterre was a captain in the French army. He holds an MBA from Chicago Booth School of Business.
