The pet insurance policy covers injury and illness, specialist treatments and optional dental care, and offers a multi-pet discount. Premiums start at $3 a week for cats and $4 a week for dogs.
Tower CEO Blair Turnbull said that the past couple of years reminded Kiwis about the importance of their pets.
“Our pets are part of the family and they have been right by our side during a particularly challenging couple of years,” Turnbull said. “From your car and contents to travel and your furry friends, we want to give Kiwis the confidence to look after what matters most.”
Earlier this year, Tower and Allianz partnered to provide travel insurance with selected cover for epidemics and pandemics.
