Following its distinction at the ANZIIF New Zealand Insurance Industry Awards, AA Insurance is celebrating its Claims Team of the Year award win, with the firm recognised for its exceptional service and technical expertise.
“We’re honoured and especially proud of our incredible claims team for taking home the win this year. These awards are a result of the hard mahi and dedication of our people, who put our customers at the forefront of everything they do. We’re always looking for new ways to look after our customers, as well as our people, and I’m proud of our team of 1,000+ for their unwavering commitment to our customers and each other,” AA Insurance GM operations Simon Hobbs (pictured above) said.
Hobbs also highlighted the importance of their role in assisting customers during challenging times, especially following the severe weather incidents earlier in the year, including the Auckland Anniversary Weekend floods and Cyclone Gabrielle.
The award, determined by a panel of industry experts, recognises AA Insurance’s efforts in creating a high-performing team that has excelled during a notably challenging period. The judges commended the company for its investment in improving claim lodgement and fulfilment processes, its approach to staff development, and its success in enhancing customer experience and loyalty.
Also in the ANZIIF awards celebratory mood is Asteron Life, with EGM Grant Willis touting the major achievement as a reflection of the commitment and efforts of the team.
