BizCover and LifeDirect, two leading online insurance comparison platforms in New Zealand, have announced a partnership to expand LifeDirect’s offering into the small business insurance market starting this month.

LifeDirect, which has always been embedded in the life and health markets, is looking to expand its services towards an entirely new vertical. It will do so by leveraging BizCover’s online comparison platform. LifeDirect will get to keep its identity as an insurance platform while at the same time taking advantage of BizCover’s expertise within the business insurance field.

BizCover NZ country manager Sean Craigen said: “We are thrilled to partner with LifeDirect, a true leader in the New Zealand online insurance market. Our cutting-edge technology and expertise in the digital SME business insurance space combined with LifeDirect’s exceptional customer-centric approach, will set new benchmarks for the industry. By exploring new insurance verticals and offering a fully white label solution, we aim to provide LifeDirect customers with an unparalleled business insurance purchase experience that is tailored to their specific needs.”

LifeDirect CEO Mark Soloman also expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership.

“This partnership with BizCover marks an exciting chapter for LifeDirect,” he said. “We are eager to leverage BizCover’s technology and expertise to expand our insurance offerings. With our shared vision of delivering exceptional customer experiences, we are confident that this collaboration will bring immense value to our customers. We have been impressed with the pace at which BizCover has been able to stand this solution up for us, from signing contracts to launching in three months.”

Earlier this year, BizCover also announced a major expansion into online business insurance service with several senior promotions and the formation of a new marketing team in NZ.
