An expanding national law firm has announced 12 new promotions within its insurance and health (I&H) and family law teams.

Barry.Nilsson. Lawyers has promoted to special counsel Sue Myers, Nick Robson, and Gillian Sheppard (I&H team); to senior associate Nathan Buck, Elizabeth O'Connor, and Ngaire Wegner (I&H team); and to associate Ashlee Bonanno, Daniella Christodoulou, Kingsley Grimshaw, and Venessa Werynski (I&H team), and Liz Anderson and Elizabeth Matthews (family).

The firm's managing partner, Don Leembruggen, said the promotions were in recognition of the high level of performance of each solicitor, and to uphold the firm's core values of dedication, excellence, loyalty, and trustworthiness.

“The feedback from our clients in regards to our latest internal promotions has been outstanding and complimentary of our team’s ability to provide clear and concise commercial advice with a high level of technical ability,” he said.

“Maintaining our core values while achieving successful expansion nationwide requires a commitment from each member of our team. I am very confident we have the right people in place nationwide to deliver continued technical and client service excellence for our clients’ benefit.”

The promotions follow Barry.Nilsson's successful recruitment of international family lawyers Angie Todd and Terrence Trainor as special counsel.
