ANZIIF recognised at education awards

An insurance industry body has been announced as a finalist in two awards for its educational offering.

ANZIIF has announced that it has been recognised as a finalist for its educational offering in two award ceremonies.

The Institute has been named a finalist for both the LearnX Impact Awards 2015 and the 19th Asia Insurance Industry Awards thanks to its training and education efforts.

The LearnX Impact Awards recognise an industry-specific project of the highest quality and ANZIIF has been nominated in the eLearning Development category for its 2014 General Insurance Code of Practice course.

In the Asia Insurance Industry Awards, ANZIIF is nominated for the Educational Service Provider of the Year Award and hopes to add to its ten victories in the category in the past.

Anton Barnett-Harris, general manager of education, events & international at ANZIIF, stressed the importance of outside recognition.

“It is an absolute privilege to be finalists for these two awards,” Barnett-Harris said.

“ANZIIF is passionate about providing exceptional education and training and we do this by partnering with industry to ensure that everything we offer reflects the needs of business and insurance professionals.

“As we move into exciting but also challenging times, it is more important than ever that the insurance industry has top quality education, training and professional development to support its goals.”

Education remains a hot button topic in the industry as debates continue around the best way to educate the future leaders of the insurance industry.
