The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) has teamed up with an Indonesian education provider to support the “promising growth” of the Indonesian insurance market.

ANZIIF partnered with the Association of Indonesian Qualified Insurance and Reinsurance Brokers (APARI), the only organisation that provides education and certification to brokers and reinsurance professionals in Indonesia, to provide its graduates the opportunity to apply for various levels of ANZIIF membership.

APARI graduates who are qualified at either AAPAI, APAI, or CIIB levels and have the required level of industry experience, will be eligible to apply for ANZIIF affiliate, associate, or senior membership. ANZIIF members have the following benefits:
  • access to lifelong learning opportunities, including ANZIIF's online learning centre;
  • a subscription to ANZIIF's quarterly insurance publication, The Journal;
  • access to a large community of industry professionals from across the globe; and
  • the use of the internationally recognised ANZIIF designation.
Similarly, insurance professionals who earned their ANZIIF Foundation Certificate in Insurance, ANZIIF Professional Certificate in Insurance, AQF Diploma in Insurance Broking, and ANZIIF Executive Certificate in General Insurance Broking, are eligible to apply for APARI's AAPAI or APAI level of membership.

“This agreement is a step forward for ANZIIF and our industry collaboration and partnership-based approach,” ANZIIF CEO Prue Willsford said. “At the cornerstone of any industry’s growth, professionalism, and value is education, and we hope this partnership will bring a high level of education and opportunity to both ANZIIF and APARI members through membership, continuous development, and learning opportunities.”

“We are proud to be partnering with ANZIIF as this mutual recognition supports the promising growth of the Indonesian insurance market,” APARI chairman Bambang Suseno said. “It’s time for APARI to raise the bar, with the support of ANZIIF.”
