Insurance broker Aon has joined forces with MyCareSpace, the largest online community providing information and support to the Australian disability sector, to help people living with a disability manage their risks and make meaningful connections.

The partnership allows NDIS participants, support workers, and NDIS registered providers to access bespoke insurance solutions at affordable prices through MyCareSpace’s platform with the option to speak to an adviser by phone to help them understand and control the risks of their NDIS choices.

These offerings are as follows:

  • Aon’s NDIS Participant Insurance, which includes cover for public liability and personal accidents for NDIS participants and their carers;
  • Aon’s Disability Carer Insurance, which includes cover for public liability, professional indemnity and personal accident; and
  • Aon’s NDIS Registered Service Providers, which provides cover for those signing new service agreements and handling the personal information of NDIS participants. The cover includes a bundle of insurance products relevant to a service provider including public liability, professional indemnity, cyber risk, and motor vehicle insurance.

“We believe working with MyCareSpace will create further opportunities for us to connect with their members who are NDIS Providers and NDIS Participants, through a great platform,” said David Cole, Aon Affinity managing director. “It will also allow us to assist providers and participants with navigating their insurance exposures and help them control these risks while they provide or receive NDIS services.”
