A major team-up between health fund Bupa and Kids Helpline is well on its way to achieving its target of delivering its in-school education program to 10,000 children this year.

Bupa is sponsoring the Kids Helpline @ School (KAS) Wellbeing program that allows primary school students to access professional Kids Helpline counsellors, to talk about such topics as bullying, mental health, and safety.

Since the sponsorship started in Jan. through to June 30, more than 6,600 children have taken part in the program.

Georgia Lucas, Kids Helpline @ School counsellor, said Bupa’s shared commitment to the wellbeing of children across Australia is helping make a huge impact to the lives of young people, inspiring them to become more resilient in the face of challenges that come their way.
