DWF, a global provider of integrated legal and business services, has launched new software, DWF 360, from its risk and insurance software division to Australia for the first time.

JJ Richards & Sons, a privately owned waste management company, has adopted DWF 360 to replace its legacy health and safety compliance, claims, and audit systems. It chose the DWF 360 risk software technology EvoSafe, EvoNotify, and EvoClaim to handle incidents end-to-end, including mobile capture, governance, compliance, and claims.

Kaitlin Tierney, a general counsel at J.J. Richards & Sons, said the new system is easy to use and allows them to track the distribution of key policies, checklists, and compliance material across all sites.

“We are delighted to have worked with DWF 360 in implementing their technology to have a central controlled area for our health and safety compliance system,” Tierney said.

She added: “It also enables us to capture more accurate incident or accident information to ensure the root cause is identified and mitigated from occurring again. This is focused [on reducing] our incidents and claims volume while reducing the cost of claims while protecting employees and interactions with the public.”

The software will be distributed to over 2,000 employees across multiple operational sites in several states.

DWF 360 chief executive officer Ashely Moss commented: “We are excited to have launched our technology in Australia with J.J. Richards & Sons as our inaugural client. We worked very closely with them to understand their needs and configure a suitable software solution that enables them not only to create financial efficiencies but also protect employees and the public.”

JJ Richards & Sons noted multi-site access, group-wide interaction, and collaboration and awareness capabilities as key requirements. Without these improvements, the business risked the effective distribution of safety, compliance, checklist, and policy documents to mitigate risks for waste vehicle drivers and their site operations.
