Gallagher has sponsored KFC Youth Foundation, a new initiative launched by the fast food organisation this year to help build confidence in Australia’s youth.

The initiative aims to support mentoring, skills development, mental wellbeing, and addressing disadvantage, in alliance with The Reach Foundation, White Lion Employment Program, Youngcare, ReachOut.com, and StreetWork.

“I’ve got young children myself,” said Helen Florentzou, Gallagher’s Melbourne manager of corporate. “And each of these charities is reaching out to help the younger generation in Australia and their families.”

Gallagher was a gold sponsor of the inaugural 2018 Victorian charity dinner held at the Shepparton Woolshed, attended by local supporters as well as a team of Gallagher supporters, including Anton Cronje, Jason Dutfield, Daryle Everitt, Jackie Everitt, Helen Florentzou, Maree Mills, and Vicki Vathis.

The gala dinner was the culmination of the KFC Rally 4 Youth, a three-day event for about 30 participants from Shepparton to Echuca, along the Murray River through Yarrawonga and Albury to Beechworth, taking in the King Valley wine district during the round trip.

The rally and dinner raised a total of $250,000 to assist the nominated organisations.
