Gallagher has partnered with a not-for-profit organisation supporting the development of community leaders, to offer risk management and insurance advice to its members and alumni.

As Gallagher's new association partner, members and alumni of the Victorian Regional Community Leadership Program (VRCLP) will gain access to a free no-obligation insurance review to ensure they have adequate protection for their key assets, as well as to a broad range of free and discounted business and personal insurance products and services.

“Regional Victorian businesses face unique challenges, including a range of natural disasters from bushfires to heavy storms,” said Jamie Lansdown, Gallagher’s national affinity manager. “This puts the onus on business owners having the right level and right type of insurance cover in place to ensure they are financially positioned to survive any loss event. That’s what we’re here to do at Gallagher. As well as providing the right cover, we can review current insurance programs to make sure they’re fit for purpose and to help people avoid common pitfalls such as under-insurance, which can be devastating in the event of a major claim.”

Katrina Baddeley, chief executive officer of VRCLP, said the alliance will provide members and alumni relevant and timely access to tailored insurance advice.

“VRCLP is committed to ensuring we partner with organisations who offer knowledge, expertise, and leadership advice to our members and their communities,” Baddeley said. “Gallagher’s footprint in Victoria means our members can access that knowledge base from those who truly understand regional risks.”
