Gallagher's Melbourne team recently spent a day of sorting and packing clothes for the Red Cross Shops, as part of their contribution to the 90,000 hours of charitable activities the company is logging to celebrate its 90th anniversary in the business.

The Melbourne team, composed of Ally Morris, national operations; Ben Giddings, HR; Kelsi Nairne, insolvency; David Gregor and Vanessa Gomes, IT; and Sara Hazell and Tracy Tafili, claims, were among the many volunteers who gathered at the Red Cross warehouse in Sunshine West in spite of soaring temperatures to support the cause.

“I think that getting involved in one day of volunteering every year is not only great for our communities but great for colleagues to interact with people from other teams, and also step out of our comfort zones,” Nairne said.

“It was an absolutely privilege to be part of the Australian Red Cross for the day,” Morris said. “The true devotion that these guys have to raising awareness and funds for the organisation is immense.”
