Gallagher Bassett’s Karlie Clausen has been recognised for her consistent outstanding customer service at the 2018 Northern Territory Insurance Industry Awards.

Clausen, who joined GB in Oct. 2017 as a mobile return-to-work specialist, received the Customer Service Professional of the Year award for her outstanding service to the police, fire and emergency services (NTPFES) portfolio.

The NTPFES portfolio includes a higher proportion of primary psychological claims due to the challenging and high-risk nature of the work undertaken by emergency services personnel.

"I’m incredibly proud of Karlie, and the work she has done in the NT,” said John McNamara, GB Australia’s CEO. “Karlie has worked very hard to learn about the needs of her customers, and as a result has built a fantastic relationship with the NTPFES agency and their workers. At GB we strongly believe our people are our strength, and Karlie clearly demonstrates this in the work she does every day. Congratulations to Karlie on a very well-deserved award.”
