ACE Group has launched of a new business travel insurance policy for the Australian market and partnered up with global crisis management company red24 to provide assistance when clients travel abroad.

The new policy includes unlimited loss of deposits and cancellation cover for business trips and the general age exclusion has been removed.

ACE has also partnered red24 to provide covered persons with travel safety and security services. This consists of ground support and evacuation assistance in the event of unexpected civil unrest, political instability, natural disaster or a terrorist attack.
red24 services include access to worldwide 24/7 telephone support and a website providing a range of pre-travel security and safety services.  Policyholders and their employees will also be offered access to a smartphone app that provides them with travel advice, country intelligence, daily news and travel alerts while travelling.
These travel safety and security services are complementary to the existing ACE assistance network that provides medical and other travel related services and advice.

Country president for ACE in Australia and New Zealand, John French said: “Feedback from brokers has indicated that the requirements of our business travel clients are evolving. ACE’s new Business Travel Insurance policy is an innovative response to this market demand, with a range of coverage enhancements and additional benefits that will ensure our clients and their employees are well looked after in the event of a mishap.”
