Suncorp Group has appointed content marketing agency Edge to spearhead their new joint venture, the Business Insurance Hub.

Working closely with insurance experts from Suncorp, Edge will deliver a suite of content and tools to help SME businesses become more informed about business insurance. This will include a mix of opinion editorials, articles, social content and tools.

Edge designed and built the website, and will produce the content for the Business Insurance Hub.

Darren Abood, websites senior leader at Suncorp said the Business Insurance Hub is designed to demystify insurance options for SMEs when they first start researching online.

Abood explained that Edge demonstrated that it understood the challenges SMEs face when researching insurance options. He praised the website for being a “well-designed, responsive site that caters to our customer’s increasing use of mobile devices”.

Edge’s head of strategy Richard Parker added: “Edge will be helping to breakdown the industry jargon to produce easy to understand content that makes sense. This content will underscore the long-term strategy for the website to be the premier resource for Australian business insurance information.”

Edge has also won the account to produce the content for Suncorp Super. Suncorp is the latest addition to Edge’s list of clients which includes AAMI, which the agency has worked with since October 2013.
