The company has appointed Richard Deguettes (pictured) as the general manager for the country, reporting to the firm’s head of Europe Kadidja Sinz from mid-May.

Deguettes makes the switch from AIG France where he has been deputy director general since 2016. He has a total of 25 years’ experience in the insurance market.
“Richard brings a powerful combination of skills in helping us to deliver on that strategy; excellent technical underwriting skills, significant market-facing experience and strong leadership,” said Sinz. “This key appointment will enable us to sustain the high level of insight, service and support that our brokers and insureds expect from us in France.”
