QBE Insurance has scooped two awards at the Council of Queensland Insurance Broker (CQIB) annual Queensland Day Awards for all-round performance and service excellence.

QBE nabbed the All-rounder of the Year Award, for its good performance across a number of measures, including levels of security, range of products, service levels, claims administration, accounts, communication, price, and availability of senior management, over the past 12 months.

Melissa Denison from QBE’s Townsville office was also given with The Mick Lambert Barker Award, presented to a staff member of a CQIB business partner for “service above and beyond.”

“This is fantastic recognition for our Queensland team,” said Jason Clarke, executive general manager for intermediary distribution at QBE. “Congratulations to Regional Manager Craig Mauger and the entire team for their efforts in a challenging environment, ensuring we work with our broker partners to deliver great customer outcomes. I’d like to extend thanks to the CQIB board and members for the acknowledgement and their continued support.”
