Australia and New Zealand’s top insurance brokers have been revealed.

The latest Elite Brokers ranking from Insurance Business profiles brokers whose results reflect more than just the size of their portfolios or the number of accounts they service. The list focuses on intermediaries delivering balanced outcomes across multiple performance measures relevant to the general insurance and risk advisory markets.

Methodology behind the Elite Brokers list

The 2026 Elite Brokers report is based on a structured, metrics-driven assessment of brokerage performance. Participating brokers were required to submit their own performance data and nominate an independent contact to verify the information. Each submission was measured against several indicators, including:

  • Policies written over the qualifying period
  • Total revenue generated
  • Average revenue per policy
  • Number of new clients acquired
  • Total revenue from new clients
  • Average revenue per new client

Brokers received a ranking for each metric. These rankings were then aggregated, and the combined score determined each broker’s final placement on the 2026 Elite Brokers list, creating a composite performance view rather than relying on a single headline figure.

Brokers highlighted in the 2026 ranking

This year’s Elite Brokers list features insurance professionals from a range of firms active in the Australian and New Zealand markets. Among those recognised in the 2026 cohort are:
