For the seventh year, Insurance Business turns to insurance brokers to get insight into Australia’s underwriting agencies for the Brokers on Underwriting Agencies 2021 report. The annual survey, which asks brokers to rank their partner agencies across a range of criteria, opens today.

Brokers from across Australia can rank the underwriting agencies they have used in the past 12 months across 11 areas of specialisation, such as: accident and health, construction, cyber and IT, D&O, management liability, not-for-profit, product liability, professional liability, property, public liability and strata cover.

This is the perfect opportunity for brokers to shine the spotlight on the agencies that have gone above and beyond for their clients. Completing the short survey also gives them a chance to win a pair of Apple AirPods.

“The survey shows us which agencies, in your opinion, are best performers in various categories and across product lines but, more importantly, it helps UAC, as the agencies’ representative body, to target training and member assistance initiatives to ensure all agencies better meet your needs,” said William Legge, general manager of the Underwriting Agencies Council.

The Brokers on Underwriting Agencies 2021 report, proudly sponsored by UAC, will be published in issue 10.06 of IB magazine, out in November, and online.
