Steadfast Group (Steadfast or Group) has appointed its current head of network security, Chris Rouse, as the new executive general manager (EGM) of technology for the Group and its subsidiaries.

Rouse is a skilled information security professional with more than 19 years of experience in management, technology, audit, and cybersecurity. He is also a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and a member of ISC2 and ISACA.

Most recently, he completed the Yale School of Management: Accelerated Management Program. Meanwhile, in 2019, he studied Cybersecurity: Managing Risk in the Information Age with Harvard (Office of the Vice Provost for Advances in Learning).

Before joining Steadfast, Rouse was a chief information officer (CIO) at Law in Order, responsible for projects such as the Royal Commission into Misconduct in the banking, superannuation, and financial services industry. He also worked as the global IT director for SiteMinder, working with the general counsel to prepare the company for the GDPR. Previously, he worked at The Interpublic Group as the SOX compliance manager, where he was responsible for IT audit and compliance.

Rouse takes on his new role following the departure of Nathan Hillery, who was Steadfast’s CIO since October 2019, on May 19, 2022, to pursue other opportunities.

The product heads of Steadfast’s various technology divisions will assume more responsibility within their teams and report directly to Rouse.
