Suncorp ramps up support for flood-ravaged Townsville

Insurance giant Suncorp continues to reach out to flood-ravaged customers in Townsville by ramping up the number of assessors and builders on-site.

“We are leading a hive of activity in the region with customer-support teams assisting with claims, assessors visiting impacted homes, and builders picking up their tools and getting to work,” said Ashleigh Paterson, Suncorp spokesperson. “Suncorp already has a large contingent of tradespeople on the ground, and this will continue to increase. We can only imagine what our customers are going through, and we are moving as quickly as possible to help.”

Flood-impacted Suncorp customers are urged to lodge their claim online, over the phone (13 25 24), or face-to-face with the insurer’s customer support teams located at the following venues:

  • The Townsville Stadium, Murray Lyons Cres, Annandale, 9am to 5pm, daily
  • Suncorp Store - Stockland Aitkenvale, Shop 130/131, 310 Ross River Road, Townsville, 9am to 4.30pm (Monday to Friday)
  • Suncorp Store – Willows Shopping Centre, 79A Thuringowa Drive, Townsville, 9am to 4:30pm (Monday to Friday)
