In keeping with Gallagher Bassett’s ongoing investment into its self-insurance offering, it has recently introduced a newly expanded self-insurance leadership team in Australia’s self-insurance sector.

“This represents part of a major expansion for Gallagher Bassett, a local and Australian third-party administrator, including the recent acquisition of Symetri in New Zealand and the creation of our catastrophe and life and disability divisions,” said Gallagher Bassett marketing manager Andrew Spilsbury.

Executive director Stacey Williams, national self-insurance manager Ben Sheat and national account manager John Cvetko are leading Gallagher Bassett’s renewed technical and customer service focus in this sector.

According to Williams, the self-insurance market is evolving rapidly and it is Gallagher Bassett’s fastest growing product.

“Globally, Gallagher Bassett is very focused on self-insurance,” Williams said.

Gallagher Bassett has over 5,100 claims professionals globally.
