Australasia’s largest third-party claims administrator has announced a new move that will strengthen its offering in the New Zealand market.
Bassett NZ has acquired TriEx Health, Safety and Wellness, a 30-year-old provider of occupational health, safety, and wellness services, in a deal that will also see current TriEx directors Sarah O’Connell and Rob Acutt join GB, with O’Connell assuming the role of general manager of TriEx.
“We see this as a great opportunity,” said Craig Furness, GB New Zealand managing director. “GB’s expertise in claim management, rehabilitation, and policy administration is well known in New Zealand. TriEx is a proven and trusted provider of occupational health, safety, and wellness solutions for New Zealand workers, with a great reputation for excellence.”
