Rothbury Insurance Brokers has hired Chris Hughes to the newly created role of executive general manager broking services and business operations.

Hughes has been with the brokerage for 14 years and in insurance for 28 years.

“I’m looking forward to helping deliver more for the Rothbury business as we grow,” he said. “We’re currently growing our client base by a hundred new clients a week, and now have offices in 20 locations around the country.

“This means we’re in a strong position to service our clients and one of my key objectives will be delivering an outstanding client experience.”

Last month, Rothbury announced it had expanded to Nelson.
