David Harris (pictured), who has held motor fleet and underwriting account management roles at Allianz Insurance since 2002, has been elevated as regional motor underwriting manager for the Midlands and the South West.

Prior to his appointment, Harris served as motor manager in Luton. In his new capacity, the Allianz stalwart will be in charge of creating and driving the strategy for motor fleet business in his designated region.

“David has been a hugely successful motor manager in our Luton branch for a number of years and it’s a great pleasure to welcome him to the team,” commented regional manager Jason Howes.

“He brings to the role a wealth of underwriting knowledge and trading skills, mixed with excellent relationships with brokers and leadership qualities, all of which will make him a great asset for the region.”

Harris was motor manager at Allianz’s Luton office for 15 years.
