Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty has appointed Dot Cownie as global head of human resources. She succeeded Anne Lebel, who took a new role at Natixis.
 
Based in London, Cownie will lead AGCS’ team of around 100 HR specialists worldwide, focusing on talent development and building leadership capabilities at all levels of the company. AGCS has more than 5,000 employees in 29 locations all over the world.
 
An experienced HR professional with a background in finance, Cownie previously worked at Barclays Bank as head of organizational development for global operations and investment bank operations & technology. She also held senior HR roles at GE Capital, Abbey National and National Westminster.
