Auto Legal Protection Services (ALPS), a leading provider of motor claims solutions and other products, has announced the promotion of Ben Lemmon to the role of client services director.

In his new role, Lemmon will be responsible for the client service strategy, new business and marketing. He will report to managing director Lee Riley.

Overseeing the account management, business development, sales and marketing teams, Lemmon’s objective is to provide existing and new clients with products and services that make ALPS the first choice for brokers and insurers.

“ALPS has an enviable reputation amongst brokers for personal service and I look forward to helping the business maintain that reputation whilst growing the business with new and existing products and services,” Lemmon said.

Lemmon joined ALPS earlier this year from Gallagher Bassett, where he was responsible for larger Lloyd’s-based insurer clients.

He has been in the insurance industry for more than 15 years, with at least 10 years of experience in claims handling.

Riley said Lemmon has been instrumental in developing the company’s relationships with its key accounts.

“His insight and leadership has identified and helped implement changes that have directly improved the service experienced by our clients as well as system enhancements to support productivity and efficiency across the business.” Riley said.
