As part of a goal to withdraw from non-core business activities in France and abroad, the APRIL Group has announced that it has wrapped up negotiations with the current directors of APRIL UK to finalise the management buyout of APRIL UK and APRIL Insurety Ireland.

APRIL UK directors Isaac Lam and Peter Taylor will now step in with a 100% takeover of the capital of both divisions.

After considering several proposals, APRIL Group stated in a press release that customer interests would be best served by the proposal that the firm received from existing management. The group added that the transaction will have no effect on the activities of London-based APRIL International UK and Medibroker, which are the group’s subsidiaries specialising in international health insurance, as both will continue to serve their customers and partners.
