Arch Insurance UK Regional Division has announced the promotion of four senior members to regional manager roles, effective immediately.

Arch says that the appointments are part of the division’s efforts to strengthen its regional structure and align with broker partners' business models.

Ian Grundy, Janice Mullan, Tony O’Reilly, and Janine Starkie (pictured above, from left to right) have been appointed regional managers for the Midlands & the South West, South & Thames Valley, London & the Home Counties, and North & Scotland, respectively. They will report to Mike Bottle, managing director of Arch Insurance UK Regional Division.

In their expanded roles, they will focus on achieving growth targets in their regions, enhancing collaboration across branches, and developing services aligned with brokers' placement strategies.

They will also continue overseeing their respective branch operations in Birmingham, Southampton, St Albans, and Manchester.

Grundy joined Arch in 2022 after serving as a strategic relationship manager at AXA UK. Mullan has been with the company since 2019, having previously worked as a broker development manager at Arista Insurance.

O’Reilly, who also joined in 2019, was formerly branch manager for London & St Albans at Fusion/Arista. Starkie became part of Arch in 2023, bringing experience as a Sales Manager at AXA UK.

Mike Bottle, managing director, said that the new regional structure reflects the company’s commitment to adapting alongside broker partners.

“Ian, Janice, Tony and Janine each have proven track records of leadership and delivering high quality broker service, and will now spearhead our strategy across our nine branches. By aligning our structure with our brokers' evolving business models, we're able to enhance our service proposition, better address their needs and still maintain the local relationships key to our success,” Bottle said.
