Charles Taylor Adjusting (CTA) has appointed a Glasgow-based head of specialist adjusting, snapping up Clive Williamson from another international loss adjusting firm.

Williamson, who previously worked on global major and complex loss assignments in the UK and Europe while at Cunningham Lindsey, has 25 years of loss adjusting experience. He will be in charge of expanding CTA’s specialist adjusting practice in the UK.

“With Clive’s arrival, we will be able to provide a UK specialist loss response that equals what we offer to our clients on an international basis,” commented Andrew Jackson, managing director for property, casualty, technical & special risks at CTA. “His knowledge and recognised major loss expertise provides a leadership focus in our home territory.

“Clive will be able to access the wealth of experts in the various specialist adjusting divisions of the group, ensuring we can respond to any catastrophic loss suffered by any of our clients’ insureds, regardless of the industry in which they operate.”

CTA provides loss adjusting services across energy, marine, aviation, property, casualty, and special risks, as well as average adjusting services for ship owners. Its primary focus is on larger and more complex commercial losses arising from major insured incidents and claims.
