Coversure Insurance Services has opened a new office in Watford, Hertfordshire, marking the sixth addition to its network this year. Nabeela Qureshi (pictured), a broker with more than 20 years of industry experience, will lead the new team.
Founded in 1986, the network now operates more than 90 offices nationwide, specialising in business insurance for companies of all sizes.
Coversure has reported a second consecutive year of record growth, opening 12 new offices in the last eight months, with around 65% of enquiries now coming from start-up brokers. Jordan Maskell, network director at Coversure, attributed the momentum to increased market consolidation, regulatory complexity, and technological change, which he said are driving more brokers to reassess how they operate.
“I’m incredibly proud to be part of the Coversure network and to serve the Watford community, which I’ve always been passionate about,” Qureshi said.
Maskell said Qureshi’s appointment reflected the qualities the company values in its brokers.
“Nabeela is a fantastic addition to the Coversure network. Her 20-plus years of experience, combined with her natural ability to build trust and rapport with clients, perfectly reflects what modern broking should be about. Just as importantly, her strong ties to the local community in Watford align exactly with our values as a network,” Maskell said.
“We’re committed to supporting talented professionals like Nabeela, who bring both technical expertise and a genuine passion for people,” he added.
A company statement also said Qureshi’s appointment marked a step towards greater gender balance in the broking sector.
Both Coversure and its sister network, Jensten Broker Network, have seen strong engagement as brokers seek additional operational support, flexibility, and long-term sustainability amid private equity investment, an ageing ownership base in regional brokerages, and the rising cost of compliance and technology.
