Crawford & Company has promoted Emma Parr (pictured) to the role of chief client officer for UK & Ireland.

Parr will join the UK leadership team with her appointment and will report to Crawford & Company UK & Ireland president Lisa Bartlett. She will also work with chief client officer, global client development Benedict Burke, in respect of Crawford’s global clients. Parr will lead all employees involved in UK sales and account management functions.

Crawford welcomed Parr to the team in January 2020 with an initial role as head of key clients. She joined from AXA, where she had spent four years of her career, most recently as a strategic relationship manager. Parr was also previously associated with Broker Network, Ecclesiastical Insurance, and Hillman Saunders.

“Emma has played an important role in the past 12 months as we navigated the many challenges posed by the coronavirus crisis,” said Crawford & Company UK & Ireland president Lisa Bartlett.

“Her strong focus on our client relationships during this difficult time has fostered trust and compelled clients to choose us.

Bartlett added that Parr’s commitment to building empowered teams has given Crawford both the reach and agility to meet the changing needs of the industry. Parr has the expertise to build effective and cohesive teams for the company’s clients, she said, while continuing to deliver on its purpose - to restore and enhance lives, businesses and communities.
