Davies, a specialist professional services and tech firm serving the insurance industry, has announced that it is rebranding the two businesses it most recently acquired: Johnson Claim Service (JCS) and The Littleton Group (Littleton).

Both JCS and Littleton will be rebranded into Davies and operate under the name. The teams will continue to deliver end-to-end claims solutions – such as third-party administration, claims adjusting, and appraisal services – to insurance carriers, managing general agents, offshore and stateside captives, municipalities, private entities, self-insured businesses, as well as to London Market brokers and Lloyd’s insurance businesses.

The employees of both teams will continue their roles with Davies, a release noted. JCS COO Bryan Johnson will continue to lead the day-to-day operations of Davies’s specialist transportation claims and Littleton COO Jeff Bode will continue to head up his team.

“Our colleagues in Littleton and Johnson Claim Service have long standing, excellent reputations in the market, and have brought a wealth of experience and technical expertise to our growing business,” said Davies CEO of US claims solutions Matt Button. “By rebranding the businesses to Davies we can become even more valuable to our clients, aligning our broader service offering and staying relevant to their evolving needs in service design and delivery by investing in technology and innovation.”

Davies acquired JCS in November 2020, and Littleton in March 2021. Also in March, Davies announced a new shareholder, with BC Partners signing a definitive deal to take a majority stake in the company.
