Former Crawford director Sarah Civil to join Cunningham Lindsey

Claims management firm Cunningham Lindsey has appointed Sarah Civil as corporate risks and specialist practice groups director.


Civil has managed several international catastrophe event responses, bringing with her almost 40 years of industry experience when she joins Cunningham Lindsey on September 01. She was managing director of Crawford Global Technical Services (GTS) before leaving in 2015.

At Crawford GTS, Civil was responsible for adjusting teams in property major loss, marine and transportation, power, energy, construction, engineering, international casualty, and aviation. Currently she does independent consulting work.      

Neil Gibson, Cunningham Lindsey’s loss adjusting services director & regional MCL global leader, UK said he is very pleased that Civil has chosen to join Cunningham Lindsey.

“She brings a wealth of experience and expertise and my colleagues and I are looking forward to working closely with her as we continue to grow this area of the business. It is an exciting development for our company,” he said.

Civil’s new role will focus on Cunningham Lindsey’s corporate risks team and the continued development of specialist practice groups in the UK.
