HDI Global SE names UK and Ireland operations director

Starting today (June 07), Arvind Drubhra (pictured) will serve as director of operations at HDI Global SE – UK and Ireland.

Drubhra made the switch from Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) in London where he spent 16 years in senior operations, transformation, and technology positions. His most recent post at AGCS was in the global process management function.

“I am super-excited to be joining HDI and the opportunity that this new role brings,” commented Drubhra, who brings more than 25 years of industry experience to the industrial lines insurer. “I hope that my experience and knowledge can help drive the evolution of HDI to achieve its future goals and look forward to working with the wider HDI global community.”

The new operations director will report to UK and Ireland managing director Claire McDonald. He will be in charge of the HDI unit’s technical operations, claims operations, global servicing, and IT & change teams.

“This is an important time for HDI,” said McDonald, “as we renew our focus on improving processes, data quality, and technical delivery to ensure we provide the best experience possible to our broker partners and clients. Arvind’s expertise will be hugely valuable in navigating us on our journey to operational excellence both on a local and global level.”
