Lewis Cursley (pictured) has joined Bridge Specialty Group’s Lonmar Global Risks as business development manager to grow the broker’s market presence in the North and Midlands.
Reporting to business development director Rob O’Connor, Cursley made the switch from Roots Finance Group.
“This is a big step forward in my career – Lonmar is a fantastic business to be a part of, with a broker proposition covering the spectrum of commercial classes, and fantastic relationships in the London Market,” Cursley said in a release.
“Backed by the strength of Bridge Specialty Group, Lonmar’s capabilities offer a fantastic opportunity to build substantive long-term broker relationships, and I’m really looking forward to making my mark in this new role.”
Bridge Specialty Group is the international wholesale broking division of Brown & Brown.
Commenting on the appointment, O’Connor said: “Lewis is based in Lancashire and will help us develop and nurture broker relationships in the North and Midlands.
“He’s a highly capable BD specialist with good connections in the region, and I’m confident he’ll make a positive difference, building on our existing relationships and further developing our market presence.”
