Andy Fitzgerald (pictured), who has been with QBE for about a decade now, is taking on the newly created position of director for UK regions.

Reporting to Chris Wallace, executive director of UK insurance at QBE Europe, Fitzgerald will be in charge of leading and growing the UK regions portfolios. QBE’s regional offices in the country are in Belfast, Bristol, Birmingham, Chelmsford, Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester, and Stafford.

“Andy’s objective is to build on our success to date, developing the portfolio as part of our overall plan to grow significantly in the UK by 2027,” said Wallace. “This appointment cements our ambition to position the UK regions as a driving force behind our growth initiatives.”

Prior to this internal move, Fitzgerald served as regional manager for the North region in the UK.
