With three direct brands and a rapidly growing portfolio, Sabre Insurance Group is looking to gain even more market recognition by this morning announcing its intention to launch an initial public offering.

The UK private motor insurance underwriter, the name behind brands such as Go Girl, Insure2Drive and Drive Smart, generated £197 million in GWP for the year ending December 31, 2016 with an average of 325,000 policies in force during that period.

Now, the firm, which has a network of more than 1,000 brokers, has outlined that specialist broker Peel Hunt will co-lead the IPO along with Berenberg, while Numis and Barclays will act as joint global co-ordinators, joint bookrunners and joint sponsors.

We will bring you more details on this announcement as it becomes available.
