Insurance Business UK’s first-ever Industry Icons list recognises not a single year’s performance, but careers spanning at least 35 years - and, in several cases, more than five decades.

The awardees have spent years helping shape the UK insurance market through consolidation, digitisation, and evolving regulation - building an industry that customers and colleagues can rely on.

Twelve individuals are recognized, reflecting something harder to measure than revenue or headcount: a sustained commitment to the industry, its people, and its purpose.
