Arrow Risk Management has entered a strategic partnership with Bridgehaven Specialty UK Limited to launch a technology errors and omissions (Tech E&O) underwriting practice.
The new practice will be led by Graeme King (pictured above), who brings over 14 years of experience underwriting technology and cyber risks, following a decade as a technology and intellectual property lawyer. King was previously managing director of the cyber specialty team at Volante Global.
Arrow’s focus will be on providing combined tech E&O and cyber coverage, targeting organisations that deliver technology products and services. The business will be written on the Arrow MGA platform, which offers operational services and carrier data provision.
Paul Dilley, chief underwriting officer of Bridgehaven, said the partnership demonstrates Bridgehaven’s intention to collaborate with MGAs that offer solutions to policyholders.
“Graeme’s track record of underwriting technology and cyber risks in combination with his extensive experience across the IT sector and the targeted risk profile of the portfolio is a key differentiator. We look forward to working with Graeme to build-out the portfolio in the UK and internationally,” Dilley said.
Bridgehaven has also recently made several senior appointments as part of its growth strategy. Earlier this month, the company named Jamie Wakeling as its new head of underwriting strategy. Wakeling, who previously served as group chief underwriting officer at Ocean Re and held leadership roles at Canopius for two decades, is expected to drive strategic initiatives across Bridgehaven’s UK, European, and international business.
Earlier in the year, Bridgehaven appointed Giles Taylor to its leadership team. Taylor, who has over 25 years of experience in the Lloyd’s and company markets, previously served as chief risk officer for Lloyd’s Europe and held legal and compliance roles at ACE, now Chubb.
Bridgehaven also named Doug Humberstone as its new head of claims. Humberstone brings more than forty years of experience from senior claims roles at Hiscox, Capita, the Lloyd’s Market Association, and QBE.
