Lee Bright, who currently serves as a senior vice president at Marsh, is joining specialist re/insurance broker Miller in November as an account executive within the direct marine team.

“We’re delighted to be welcoming Lee to Miller, further growing our marine direct team and strengthening our marine hull capabilities,” Miller’s direct marine head Nick Summers said in an emailed release.

“His blend of underwriting and broking experience will benefit both clients and our trading partners as we look to further our reputation as a leading player in marine.”

Bright’s credentials include time spent as an Amtrust at Lloyd’s marine underwriter and as Swiss Re’s deputy head of marine hull in London. At Miller, the senior hire will focus on marine hull.

“I’m excited to be joining Miller during a period of growth for both the marine team and the wider business,” Bright said. “I’m looking forward to working closely with Nick and the rest of the direct marine team to provide top-class products and services for our clients.”

Prior to Bright’s appointment, Miller expanded its direct marine team with the addition of Craig Dennis.
