QBE has expanded its financial lines capabilities in the UK with the appointment of Gill Rhodes to the newly created role of regional underwriting manager, financial lines.

Bringing 20 years of experience in financial lines underwriting, Rhodes joins QBE from Chubb where she was the northern region financial lines manager. She has also worked at Towergate Insurance and Chartis. At QBE, she will be responsible for the company’s financial lines products in the UK, focusing particularly on its professional indemnity, management liability, and cyber capabilities. She will report to Andy Fitzgerald, director of UK regions at QBE Europe, and will be based in the Leeds regional office.

QBE has several regional offices in the UK. These offices are located at Belfast, Bristol, Birmingham, Chelmsford, Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester, and Stafford.
