CEGA Special Investigations, an insurance-fraud investigation expert, has teamed with Charles Taylor General Adjusting Services to add fraud investigation services to Charles Taylor’s roster of capabilities.

CEGA investigates all areas of insurance fraud, according to a news release. The company’s collaboration with Charles Taylor will expand its footprint in the UK and enhance Charles Taylor’s own loss-adjustment offerings.

“We are delighted to be forming this mutually beneficial partnership,” said David Parker, Charles Taylor’s managing director for London. “CEGA’s breadth of investigative experience augments our own in-depth processing expertise, producing a seamless service that will both benefit our existing clients and attract new business.”

CEGA Special Investigations was founded in 2008. It is a stand-alone group from CEGA Group, a medical assistance and claims management provider.

“Our success to date can be attributed to the unified skills of our in-house investigative, medical, claims and travel teams, complemented by our worldwide network of agents,” said Simon Cook, head of technical claims for CEGA. “We now look forward to building on this success with Charles Taylor General Adjusting Agents, investigating suspicious domestic and international claims thoroughly and paying genuine claimants quickly.”
