Willis Towers Watson has announced that insurance technology provider Tia Technology has become the first vendor to join its global Radar Live Collaboration program. The program will allow Willis Towers Watson to develop an ecosystem of policy and claims-administration vendors and support faster integration with Radar Live, the company’s recently upgraded price delivery software.

Radar Live enables a wide range of analytics outputs to be deployed in real time at the point of a quote. While Tia’s rating engine will continue to be a central part of Tia Solutions, integrating Tia and Radar Live will allow users to take full advantage of both platforms, according to Willis Towers Watson.

Through the integration, the rates generated by Radar Live will be available instantly in Tia Solutions and accessible to all relevant users in an insurance company.

“By providing a standard integration, the integration costs are minimal compared to the up-front and maintenance costs of an in-house project,” said Anders Rosenbeck, chief operating officer for Tia. “Our collaboration with Willis Towers Watson will help Tia customers using Radar Live keep their competitive edge as the industry evolves. We look forward to a successful partnership.”

“We are delighted to be working with Tia, and this collaboration will help to expedite the significant value that comes from a combined Tia Solutions and Radar Live integration, including improved speed to market and best-practice implementation,” said Andrew Harley, Willis Towers Watson’s global partnerships director.
