A Melbourne-based workplace-wellbeing partner of the superannuation and insurance industry has expanded into Sydney with a new appointment.
SuperFriend has appointed Rob Costello as partner-relationship manager, a newly created role that will allow him to use his extensive workers’ compensation and group life-insurance experience, to manage some of the organisation’s key multi-stakeholder partner relationships across all profit-to-member super funds and their relevant group life insurers.
Costello joins SuperFriend from Link Group, where he was responsible for managing the relationship and administrative needs of one of the largest super funds in Australia. Prior to that, he worked at major insurers QBE, TAL Australia, and CommInsure.
“Rob brings a deep understanding and well-rounded experience across superannuation and insurance,” said Margo Lydon, SuperFriend CEO. “Rob’s interpersonal skills and experience will enable these funds to add value to their employer and member relationships by offering greater real-time support.
