Global insurer AXA has launched new range of covers and support services this week which could help Australian brokers better serve their clients who require international insurance programs.

AXA Corporate Solutions confirmed yesterday that it is now able to offer clients and brokers considerable resources to support business operations in over 150 countries.

“This move greatly enhances the products and services we can offer to local companies doing business overseas,” said Hubert Jumel, CEO of AXA Corporate Solutions’ Australian branch.

“The feedback from the brokers we have presented the capabilities to so far has been overwhelmingly positive,” he continued. “Some of them have remarked how they have been looking for just these kind of solutions.”

The full range of products and support includes experience gained through 2,400 programs and 11,000 local policies worldwide, insurance solutions provided in 150 countries, support from 500 claim specialists, consistent risk management consultancy and advice from 160 risk engineers, access to a team of experts delivering quality service and ensuring local compliance, and online tools that follow the status of program implementation in real time.

According AXA, these benefits all come together under the company’s International Management Charter – a specifically designed set of rules and processes that apply within the firm’s international network.

“It ensures a consistent approach in the long-term and drives best practices encompassing policy management, claims handling and accounting,” read a statement released by the company yesterday.
